New Handheld Device

Submitted by Michael Cruse on June 14, 2008 – 5:44 amNo Comment

I think I am the last person to get a new Blackberry. This is a little ironic as I am the head of an IT department. My last device had been working great for the last two and half years and I really did not need a new one until now. It was time for us to part…me to a new blackberry and my old device to the e-recycle bin. I went with the Blackberry Curve and what a nice device so far. It is faster then my last Blackberry and the screen is greatly improved. Even the Internet Browser works better. I can use several Google applications on this device, where as, they would not function on my last unit.

It took me a bit of time to setup, as I like to fiddle with them a bit to get it just right…I know I am not the only one who does this so do not call me an urber nerd. ;-) Over the next couple of days we will see what battery life and call quality is like. I wanted my last device to last a few more months as a new Blackberry model (Bold) will be arriving soon. I have a feeling that I might have one in my home as my wonderful wife is known to be very hard on her phones. They seem to have all sorts of accidents on a fairly regular basis. Strange ;-)
