I think I am the last person to get a new Blackberry. This is a little ironic as I am the head of an IT department. My last device had been working great for the last two and half years and I really did not need a new one until now. It was time for us to part…me to a new blackberry and my old device to the e-recycle bin. I went with the Blackberry Curve and what a nice device so far. It is faster then my last Blackberry and the screen is greatly improved. Even the Internet Browser works better. I can use several Google applications on this device, where as, they would not function on my last unit.

It took me a bit of time to setup, as I like to fiddle with them a bit to get it just right…I know I am not the only one who does this so do not call me an urber nerd. Over the next couple of days we will see what battery life and call quality is like. I wanted my last device to last a few more months as a new Blackberry model (Bold) will be arriving soon. I have a feeling that I might have one in my home as my wonderful wife is known to be very hard on her phones. They seem to have all sorts of accidents on a fairly regular basis. Strange
