I've always seen that option but I have never used it. I think I might give it a try and see how I like it

Windows Live Writer is another option that works really well for blogging and automatically posting. It has a few more options and does support tags as well as categories.

@Adam

I am not aware of any Microsoft solution for posting directly to a blog from MS Word 2000-2003. I did a couple of Google searches and found a third party application that says it can do it. I am sure a little more searching would have turned up another application or two. I have not tried any of these types of applications as i no longer have access to Word 2003.

Try Scribefire. I love it. It opens up as a half page over your Internet pages so you can look at what you are posting about and link to pages easily. It is a firefox bookmark. When I finish the post, I save it to draft, then go into my blog and add pictures or formatting there.

Worse yet, if you have an anonymous blog, everyone will be able to see that you are the author if they have access to the computer. I tried it on myself.

This is an interesting find. But I don't use Word 2007 though. There are always problems when posting from Word. The web page many not show up properly in IE6 when posted this way.
